Galdino Social

Galdino Social is an initiative focused on promoting education, gender and racial equality, and pro bono work, to build a more diverse and plural society.

The work carried out through external actions reflects the firm’s culture of equity and inclusion, in an environment free from prejudice.

We strive daily to ensure that each person can express their identity without restrictions and have their individuality respected. In this way, we converge our efforts in the materialization of several projects, such as Black Sisters In Law, Processualistas, IWIRC Brazil, Estratégicas, and external support, such as the Next Generation of Lawyers and the XI de Agosto Legal Department.

FGV Scholarship Rio Diversity Law and Inclusion - Esperança Garcia

Funding for a scholarship for young black people during their five years of undergraduate study. The scholarship is curated by FGV Direito Rio’s Diversity and Inclusion Program and is awarded in partnership with law firms, companies and institutions.

Black Sisters In Law

An initiative aimed at establishing connections, exchange and growth among black women lawyers. The project aims to boost black women lawyers through a global association with more than 800 members through access to job opportunities, events and legal support, lives, face-to-face meetings and the provision of a coworking space.

Educational support students of Petrópolis

The office helps thirty students from a school in Petrópolis to pay for their education.

Legal Department XI de Agosto

FDUSP’s oldest extension organization, run by the Department of Procedural Law, which provides free legal assistance to the underprivileged population of São Paulo in the advisory, litigation and mediation spheres, working in all areas of law.

Next Generation of Lawyers

The program is aimed at getting students from public colleges or scholarship holders from low-income families into the legal job market. The aim is to select law students for a training program with lawyers from the best law firms in Brazil.

Processualistas

A project that brings together female professors and scholars of Civil Procedure Law, with initiatives that seek to give space and visibility to female authors and researchers, as well as to encourage young academics. Co-creators and organizers of the Brazilian Civil Procedure Competition.

IWIRC Brazil

An organization that promotes networking for women working in the areas of insolvency and restructuring by connecting more than 1,600 women around the world, as well as providing tools and programs that help them in their work and encouraging them to publish and present their work in the context of the organization.

Strategic

A project that connects women leaders in the legal department of companies and partners of law firms, in order to debate issues related to strategic litigation, management and career, and to foster relationships and networking among its members.
